IFRS 17 The Challenge & Opportunity

Practitioners from across the Market responsible for the implementation of IFRS 17 met in the Old Library at Lloyd’s on 23rd November 2017 to hear from experts from Tagetik and Q_Perior. The interactive roundtable session enabled delegates to openly discuss and debate their concerns about this new standard, which follows on from the Solvency II regulations.

Attendees felt that there was lack of understanding and general market awareness around IFRS 17 and they were looking for more central Market guidance. LMForums will seek to arrange a follow up session in 2018 to try and close this knowledge gap.
