TOM, Blockchain, P2P, RPA, Ai, Disintermediation….. The last 10 years has seen some landmark moments, when it comes to technology and innovation, from ECF to A&S and now to Electronic Trading. Everyone would agree, the journey has not been an easy one, but is the London Market finally embracing the digital revolution because it wants to or simply through necessity? What competitive benefits does innovation bring and will the trading landscape look different 10 years from now.
During this interactive session, delegates will have the opportunity to openly debate the topic and hear from former FD of Towergate, now MD of Blocksure Limited, Ranvir Saggu on the threat to the existing insurance model from Blockchain, as well as be informed by the team in the centre of our Market leading the PPL electronic trading initiative. No LMForums session would be complete without our popular roundtables - giving everyone the chance to have their say. Delegates will be invited to join us for our evening Summer Drinks Party on the roof terrace at the Club.

Insurance Professional & Blockchain Expert
Ranvir is an Experienced insurance leader with experience of running IT and finance operations within the insurance sector, having worked for companies such as Towergate, Garwyns and Fosun Insurance Group. He is now heading up Blocksure Ltd, a new technology services company delivering blockchain powered solutions to our industry with the aim of reducing operational expenditure.
ALISON DOVE
PPL
Ali is a highly experienced change and programme manager and has been involved in a number of Lloyd’s and London Market projects and is now leading the communications and market relationships of one of the London Market’s biggest modernisation projects, PPL, the electronic placing platform through the London Market TOM Programme.

This event will also be open to all. If you work for a supplier, vendor or consultancy business, a small charge will be made.
