Judging sessions for the 2026 Market People Awards have now concluded

Judging sessions for the 2026 Market People Awards have now concluded - 12th May 2026

The judging sessions for the 2026 Market People Awards have now concluded, with finalists currently being notified ahead of this year’s celebration at the Guildhall on 17th June.

After a record-breaking year for nominations, last week saw the judging panel come together to carefully review and assess the exceptional individuals, teams and organisations put forward from right across the London Insurance Market.

With nominations increasing by more than 40% compared to last year, the 2026 Awards have once again highlighted the depth of talent, professionalism and contribution that exists across the Market. From underwriting and broking through to claims, operations, technology, HR, learning & development, data, innovation and leadership, the quality and breadth of submissions made this year’s judging process one of the most competitive to date.

The judging process remains one of the most important and respected elements of the Market People Awards. Conducted in strict confidence, the sessions are designed to ensure fairness, openness and integrity for every nominee and category.

LMF would like to sincerely thank this year’s judging panel for their time, expertise and commitment to the process:

Dave Matcham FCII, Samantha Whitbread MCIPD, Shelley Perry MCIPD, Tom D., Fiona Temple Chartered FCIPD, Annabel Wellburn Dip CII, Christopher Digby, Simon Squires, Erin Treacy, Thomas Pereira Dip CII, Richard Coello, Jacqueline Girow, Kate Devenish and Henry Sanderson.

The discussions throughout the judging sessions reflected not only the calibre of nominations received, but also the passion and dedication demonstrated every day across the London Market community. Selecting finalists and winners from such an outstanding field was no easy task, with many categories generating significant debate due to the strength of submissions.

Finalists are now being notified over the coming days, with further announcements to follow shortly as anticipation builds towards the awards ceremony itself.

The 2026 Market People Awards will take place on Wednesday 17th June at the historic Guildhall, where over 400 market professionals are expected to come together for what promises to be the biggest and boldest celebration yet of talent across EC3 and the wider London Insurance Market.

The evening will celebrate those individuals, teams and firms who continue to make a real difference across the Market through leadership, professionalism, innovation and contribution.
